We have driven about 300 miles today and have about the same distance tomorrow to get to Yellowstone NP. The scenery has been varied, from mountainous to flat grass lands. There is a huge vaariety of housing and we can't get over the amount of dingy looking casinos in each town - apparently gambling is a real problem here - and the government is addicted to the proceeds of it!!! Sound familiar?

We have been struggling with communications a bit - trying to work out the best solution - seems like Starbucks or Walmart for free connectivity is the best option. We were thinking of getting a phone card but are unable to find one that is not connected to a contract. So Skype is the best option for phoning.
I am writing this at a place called White Sulpar Springs in Montana - we are staying at a RV park and are the only ones here - the long weekend which was last weekend was the official end of the holiday season here and we have noticed that the roads are quieter. It is a very small RV park next to a farm and we looked out the window as we were eating tea to see a couple of deer walking in front of our van - have not seen much wild life really -apparently there should be some buffalo at Yellowstone.
Better go and get some sleep have been up since 6:30am this morning and on the road since so we are a bit tired tonight.
